The Lal-lo We Care Program is a comprehensive disaster preparedness initiative by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lal-lo. It involves quick response efforts and collaboration among various agencies, including Lal-lo Rescue 35/MDRRMO, RHU/Birthing Center, DWRL Radio Station, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, and volunteers. Globe Telecom, a major telecommunications company, became a key partner, sponsoring cellular phones, hotline numbers, and stickers with emergency hotlines distributed to households.
The program ensures widespread access to emergency services through the distribution of We Care Hotline Stickers in households, schools, establishments, and public buildings. The Municipal Disaster Operations Center (MDOC) in Centro, Lal-lo, acts as a central command during emergencies, collecting and disseminating critical situational information. It facilitates communication among stakeholders, enabling a real-time understanding of the situation.
The Lal-lo We Care Program provides accessible and reliable services through text or call, emphasizing the LGU’s commitment to swift and efficient responses to disasters and emergencies. This initiative reflects Lal-lo’s continuous efforts to protect its people and deliver effective services in any unforeseen circumstances.
